1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Dugout Sports ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. Dugout Sports is operated by Dugout Sports LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Dugout Sports. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the Platform.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without written permission
• Impersonate any person or entity, including other players or team staff
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Use the Platform for commercial purposes without our written consent

5. Player Verification

College baseball players may claim and verify their profiles through our .edu email verification process. By claiming a profile, you represent that:

• You are the actual player associated with that profile
• The school email address you provide is your own
• All information you provide during verification is accurate

Fraudulent claims, including claiming another player's profile or using someone else's email address, will result in immediate account termination.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, code, logos, and original content are owned by Dugout Sports LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. Game scores, statistics, and schedules are sourced from publicly available data.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (such as profile bios or posts). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all information (including scores and statistics) will be accurate or up-to-date at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dugout Sports LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at feedback@dugoutsports.io.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in King County, Washington.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
